Store and officer should pay penalty - {Story - Racial profiling case a bittersweet victory}
I am appalled at the treatment given to Jacqueline Nassiah, wrongly accused of stealing a $10 bra. The order by the Ontario Human Rights Commission for the Peel Region police to pay her $20,000 doesn't compensate her for the injustice. It also penalizes the taxpayers of Peel Region who will pay the costs. Sears and the police officer should be paying the penalty.
