Chief rocked as senior officer files lawsuit

A Peel Regional Police Inspector is suing Chief Michael Metcalf and other senior members of the force over allegations that include breach of public duty, abuse of public office and malicious prosecution.
The lawsuit by Insp. Steve Dolan, filed today in Superior Court in Toronto, is seeking more than $5 million in damages.
It names Metcalf, along with acting Deputy Chief Daniel McDonald and acting Staff Supt. Blair Foley.
