Dear Editor: It is beginning to seem that more officers of the law are abusing their power. This summer my brother and his girlfriend were walking along Lakeshore Rd. around 8 p.m, when an officer asked my brother for identification. Apparendy they were searching for a suspect of African American descent whereas my brother is caucasian. The rationale for the officer stopping my brother is questionable. It makes one wonder if the police think they are above the law just because they are paid to enforce it.
