LeFeuvre, the (so-called), Freedom of Information (FOI) Co-ordinator FOI requests by year: Other letters and related documents: Here is just some of what this very busy lady has been up to and all in the service of her political master Hazel McCallion, who has in trusted Ms. LeFeuvre, that records requested under the Freedom of Information Act will not be provided. More details here. Ms. LeFeuvre and Arthur D. Grannum ran the City of Mississauga's 2000 election and when questioned about the new voting system candidates were told by Ms. LeFeuvre they should trust it, as it was run by those who had integrity. As I was a candidate and I knew of their past actions, I questioned their "integrity" in my request to have them removed from overseeing the 2000 election. My Nov. 9, 2000, request noted the following reasons that I knew of that they should be removed, Violated provincial legislation - violated a City By-Law and a signing false affidavit. The City took no action. Knowing I was poor, that the press would unquestionably side with politicians and that the City is run by politicians who have a passing acquaintance with the law, this came as no surprise. The ex-mayor of Brampton also notes that Hazel gets a special deal from the media. It was after the election that I set out to discover what witches brew of ill will that City politicians and staff had been creating against me. A FOI request was filed for the records the City would need to destroy my efforts to serve the community and publicly discredit me. Who knows maybe the City was planning to make that their present to Hazel at her big 80th birthday do. In typical fashion Joan does what she can to deny me records and keep the Mayor's promise by with holding service, refusing to speak to me and explain how and where certain City records are kept. The I get a letter from a lawyer claiming to act for Joan and Arthur and that they are "contemplating a lawsuit", against me. How very odd. What I have been saying, has been said for years, to the point it is common knowledge and any action brought against me will mean Hazel McCallion will be subpoenaed and under oath have to explain why she ordered these people to do what they have done. As the documentation is so strong, that anything short of buying the judge will not work for them. I have been warned this legal action could just be a smoke screen for something far more harmful or deadly. After all Peel police have been sent to my door just because City politicians didn't like my attitude! And that police can get away with killing you by simply say you fought them. Hazel knows that if I am given time and opportune she will not be remembered as a person that parents should use as a role model for their children. Given the fact that Joan and Arthur are stating they are involved in a legal action against me, I reviewed her actions regarding the way she is handling my FOI requests and it is my opinion that she is in a clear conflict of interest, that she, Arthur and City politicians will gain from her actions (so far).
