The City wants people to comment but the City's own staff cannot provide a report for them to comment on, how is that fair? Is that the same as saying that if the City itself cannot create a report in a timely enough fashion so that it can be shared with the community, so it can be reviewed and researched, on the same subject, how can Taxpayers be expect to do so? I called about getting a copy of the report and was told that I would be called when it was available, was not called till Monday, the same day as the meeting. However, I was in City Hall on the Friday before and by chance, noticed there was an Additional Agenda available that did have the report in it. Still this leaves no time to really review the matter and to make it even more a FARCE the new material, site plans from the developer were not in the report! We had to wait till the meeting to see them shown on the overheads and that was it. Councillor C. Corbasson was not at the meeting, she was on leave due to deaths in the family.
