Over the years Laurie Kallis has been very active in both the Art and Environmental communities in Mississauga.

Laurie graduated from UTM in 2000 and now works as a freelance writer and designer. Laurie's skills as a professional writer and artist have allowed her to work on projects for many organizations in the Greater Toronto Area. Laurie has developed an archive of exhibition programming and resident artist information for The Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, written and designed an internal newsletter for the University of Toronto at Mississauga, and developed training manuals for the Greater Toronto Airport Authority.
