Barber but they were denied as well. we tried to work around the City's blocks for ourselves first, before seeking aid from others. More about this in the future. More details; During the Sept. 22-03 visit to Mississauga City Hall by the leader of the Green Party, Frank de Jong to make an education announcement "Green Party would give schools back to the community". He and 3 Mississauga Green Party candidates, Jeffrey Smith - Mississauga Centre, Pamela Murray - Mississauga South, Don Barber - Mississauga East and an CFO, all made FOI requests. An effort by the City's FOI Co-ordinator to discourage the FOI requests was made by noting a possible high cost, then followed by a claim that "you know who", already has all the City's records about the Cawthra Bush. What an odd thing to say. Most importantly no receipt was issued for the $25 worth of FOI requests. Stay tuned for what happens next! Sept. 24-03, my FOI request is returned by the City's FOI Co-ordinator, Joan LeFeuvre. She says because of M-947 I will not ba allowed to have more then 1 FOI request active at a time and only 5 in a year and the current one will be the last one till next year! Have not heard what has happened to the other FOI requests put in by Green Party members. |
