Office of the Prime Minister RE: Request for action regarding Governor General's office failure to provide requested information. Dear Prime Minister; July. 6, 2006 This matter has become even more serious as more eye wittiness accounts are being discovered that stated Hazel McCallion, an Order of Canada recipient, is a Drunk Driver. As this is being published on the Internet, reporters is other media are now starting to openly share their stories of the Mayor of Mississauga being drunk in public and then driving herself home. The flood gates are starting to open, the office of the Prime Minister should be pro-active and investigate Hazel McCallion's background to ensure there is no more dishonour to Canada's institutions by way of inaction. Documents have been provided to the Governor General's office to support the call for Hazel McCallion not to receive the Order of Canada (still it was awarded); that a fully and formal review be conducted into the decision making process that resulted in her membership in the Order of Canada, which should hold the potential of the return of Canada's highest award; a full investigation, open to the public with public input into their past questioning whether her character is worthy of a member of the Order of Canada. A request for a written response addressing all these items not been received from the Governor General's office yet. Due to the change of government taking place when these events were taking place it is reasonable to believe this did not receive the attention it should have. The office of the Prime Minister should review my letters dated Nov. 17/05 and Jan. 2/06 to the Governor General of Canada, as they contain a shocking amount of detailed history about why Hazel McCallion is of unworthy character to be a member of the Order of Canada. This is also fully in keeping with the Prime Minister's stated goal of more accountability in Canadian government. The request is again made for an investigation into her past, in regards to if she is of worthy character to be a member of the Order of Canada. It is also requested that I be informed as to how to begin the process for an awarding of the Order of Canada to be reviewed, that could result in it being returned. These important questions have been asked but no answer as of yet; "Has the Governor General been fully informed of the noted matters or are there other items Hazel McCallion has failed to divulge to the Order of Canada selection committee?" "Did she fail to provide the important information that any reasonable and honest person would know the committee would want to know? In other words, if a person was found guilty of the charges made in the lawsuit would such a finding disqualify them from joining the Order of Canada (and it should)?" This will be posted on my web-site (with the more political items), which is; - 2 - I am willing to discuss my letter with you and there is an answering machine you can leave a detailed private message on. My phone number is (905) ***-**** & E-mail ******************. Please find enclosed; 1). A print out from the internet of the "Hazel McCallion, the Mayor of Mississauga is a Drunk Driver According to Family Insider", web-page.
