Bill 20 The purpose and effect of the applications are: i) to amend the designation for the above-noted lands in the City Plan Policies for the Lakeview District from "Residential Low Density II" to "Residential Low Density II - Special Site"; ii) to change the zoning for the above-noted lands from "R4" and "RM1" to "R5" to permit 5 freehold detached dwellings on lots having a minimum lot frontage of 9.75 m (32 ft.) and minimum lot area of 295 m2 (3,175 sq. ft.) and to "RM5-Special Section" to permit 30 condominium row dwellings. The purpose of this public meeting is: * to provide the applicant with an opportunity to present the proposal;
* to provide an opportunity for interested individuals to ask questions and express their views about the proposal;
* to provide the Planning and Development Committee and Staff with community input into the planning process which will be used in the evaluation of the subject applications. If you are unable to attend the meeting, signed written submissions will be accepted by the City Clerk prior to the meeting. Such written submissions will become part of the public record. Please note, if a person or public body that files a notice of appeal of a decision of the City of Mississauga in respect of the proposed Official Plan Amendment and/or Zoning By-law does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of Mississauga before the proposed Official Plan Amendment and/or Zoning By-law is adopted, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or part of the appeal. If you wish to be notified of the adoption of the proposed Official Plan Amendment and/or Zoning By-law you must make a written request to the City Clerk, 300 City Centre Drive, Mississauga, Ontario L5B 3C1. Subsequent to this public meeting, staff will prepare a report with recommendations regarding the applications which will be dealt with at either a future Planning and Development Committee meeting or Council meeting.
