You should comment on PQP being changed
Wed. Aug. 5 Council Meeting will be notable for the motion and discussion about moving Public Question Period to Committee Meeting(s).
Whether you support the removal of a 30 year tradition, where citizens could come forth and ask a question of Council (changed three years ago to only on the day's topics) or would like it to remain. You should speak up.
Write a letter to The Editor Judy Imerson firstname.lastname@example.org , attend Council, question MIRANET or your local ratepayers associaton speak to a neighbor - just do not let this public exchange of ideas and perspective change without your two cents.
For the record: I am in favour of moving PQP into Committee Meetings. In exchange I request 1) better quality Minutes 2) draft copy of prior Minutes 96 hours in advance 3) advance copy of the Agenda, 72 hours. Plus advance copies of all reports mentioned.
Please, take a moment and post your view below.

"In summary: Always exercise due diligence, take precautions and focus on prevention. After all,the best-managed crisis is the one you avoid!" Imagine if our public institutions really did practise "due diligence". Seriously. Imagine what Ontario could be! Or our country.
