Claims it is a real complaint - part of yard not
"neat & tidy"

Below is the Notice of Contravention put in the mail box of Candidate for Mayor Donald Barber.
Is this the same kind of harassment that is currently going on in other parts of the City, as noted in the Mississauga News?
"strong-arming residents to place her election signs on their properties, charge her two former office workers.
The workers, who earlier claimed Adams forced them to work on her re-election campaign, say the councillor threatened homeowners with bylaw infractions if they didn't comply with her wishes."
Maybe it is because as a candidate for Mayor I have been making an issue of developers signs being illegally placed on City streets and last weekend the offending signs got posted with signs to note they were illegal and City By-law does not sound willing to help in the removal of these signs - even though it is the same company {VANDYK Group of Companies}, that they have removed the signs of, after I have complained about them & posted their pictures on the Internet. The pictures show just how minor - Frivolous & Vexatious - this complaint is.
I have spoken to the City inspector Ross Spreadbury. He tells me that the person complaining was confusing our property with another, but he still wrote us up - maybe there is more than one person being confused. If our backyard is a crime then how many others are to? Is this a make work project or make an excuse to go after a Mayoralty Candidate who is costing Hazel McCallion's developer friend money or just a Hazel hates you calling card?
If anything our backyard is mostly empty and my elderly father does like to keep things around as he is old school, could need it some day and that is the whole point behind a house, a place to put your stuff. We also have been farming the backyard and recycling for as far back as the 1950's, before the term was common. As you can see we have a compost pile, compost bins and a vegetable garden where for decades we have grown what we eat - we have not lost our connection to the Mother earth.
Even the messiest part of the yard is mostly empty. It does have what you would expect in the backyard of a family growing their own food, a grinder to make twigs into mulch for the compost. We do not put out for collection, yard waste.
Ross Spredbury says there are "metal container", well there are a couple of watering cans and a metal garbage can - did not know we needed a special permit for such things in the City of Mississauga!
Machine to till the soil with and compost bins - do we have too many?
There is storage of old wood but it is in plastic tubes and covered so it could be used in the future and as you can see not very much of it at all. Other than Martha Stewart who would really have a problem with this - are we really too sloppy to be in Hazel town?
Happy local wildlife - a golden-eyed demon squirrel, maybe it possessed the City By-law officer and made him claim we are backyard evil-doers!
The garbage bags have sticks in them and they are going to be taken up north to our property - how bad can they really be? NOTE - our back yard is surrounded by trees - who really can even see into it or spend their time doing so? Is the City flying over top spying on us? You never know these days where your tax dollars are going.
