Mississauga News - Dec. 23, 2009 - Letter by A.H. Coote, Mississauga

Review needed

Dear Editor:

A review of the information concerning the forthcoming municipal public inquiry would indicate the originators might do a lot better with the taxpayers’ money by looking into the administration at City Hall that gave rise to the noted events, rather than concentrating on the incumbents involved.

What is required is some assurance that organizational routines are established or revised to prevent such future occurrences.

For example, the lack of a proper routine for processing the minutes of council meetings is clearly evident.

An administrative review by a professional consulting firm might provide immediate constructive recommendations at far less cost than a public inquiry.

The clerk was clipped on an issue involving Inside Trading and Securities of a Pension Plan

It's not an issue on small potatoes once the living room directors are at large

A. H. Coote clearly doesn't comprehend MYTHissauga's infinite capacity to pervert

A.H. Coote writes, "An administrative review by a professional consulting firm might provide immediate constructive recommendations at far less cost than a public inquiry." Ahhhh yes, "a professional consulting firm" hired by the municipality to investigate that municipality. HAHAHAHAHAH. That suggestion can come only from one of three sources. A) someone as naive as I once was. B) someone prepared to sweep this all under the rug of some consulting agency. C) is from a consulting agency. D) Um.
