RE: Formal Complaint regarding Bias By-law enforcement against a Candidate during the 2006 election - to be added to
the existing complaints file.
Dear Ms. Baker: June 4, 2008 - Bias By-law enforcement.
This letter is just to start the process and more details of the complaint are to follow after a process and structure has been defined for how this complaint is to be handled.
Twice during 2006 election City By-law severed my senior father with notices that there issues with how his property (my residence), was kept. In the news article regarding this unfair assessment City staff claimed it is not a political act but the second notice was dated on the very same day as the voting was taking place, so the media could not report the latest abuse of power and intimidation toward me to voters before they could vote. Again, an attack on a candidate, in an election, by City staff, who was opposing the Mayor - Hazel McCallion.
